La Jefa

Author: Patrick M. Harris

Synopsis:  Two good friends Erick and Zack plan a vacation to the Dominican Republic. Zack’s flight gets delayed out of Pittsburgh and he misses his connecting flight out of Miami with Erick and won’t be arriving until the next day. The first day Erick is alone in DR and meets a beautiful Dominican woman named Damani.

They fall head over heels for each other and she ends up spending the rest of the vacation with him and Zack. Damani introduces them to new friends and shows them around town. However they do not know that Damani is the daughter of the boss of one of the biggest Cartels in the Dominican republic and the towns people know her as La Jefa.

Unknowingly the cartel is under investigation by a newly formed task force whose mission is to bring down the heads of the cartel. While Erick and Zack are enjoying their vacation, Damani is off putting in work for the family business. Erick and Zack have no idea who Damani really is, but find themselves in a few situations themselves. They speculate she is somebody important but quickly write it off as their situations were just chance encounters.
